UC Berkeley’s Chi Epsilon is a civil engineering honors society dedicated to supporting the civil engineering community in four distinct areas— practicality, sociability, character, and scholarship— as well as recognizing civil engineering students who have exemplified these four principles. Chi Epsilon members, officers, and pledges get involved in many of the events we hold each semester, including midterm review sessions, weekly study hall, and local community service events such as Splash, Engineering for Kids, Berkeley Project, and Habitat for Humanity. Through these events, we aim to foster a close-knit sense of community, both between Chi Epsilon members, officers and alumni, but also between Chi Epsilon and the entire civil engineering department.
