Transportation is one of the world’s most fascinating and interdisciplinary fields, combining civil engineering, city planning, and data science to build efficient, sustainable, and resilient transportation for all. Cal Transpo serves as a space for motivated students to engage in this field and connect with professionals through collegiate competitions and real-world projects. Two examples are:

- Proposing an improved transit corridor to enhance bus service and network connectivity across Northridge, CA

- Designing an intercity transit service to connect residents of Fresno, Reedley, Kingsburg, and Parlier
